Wellness Exams
A wellness exam includes a comprehensive physical examination and age-appropriate diagnostics (such as blood pressure screening, parasite tests, and blood work) to screen for early signs of disease. Any vaccinations due at the time of the annual exam will be discussed and administered as needed.
Vaccinations
Vaccinations are key to preventing disease and managing your pet's health. We will work with you to develop a vaccination program to suit your pet's needs and based on their lifestyle, age, and medical history.
Dental Care
Dental care for your pet is just as important as it is for humans! Every time you come in for a wellness exam, your pet's teeth will be checked for signs of dental disease and we will provide you with recommendations for how to maintain good dental condition. We are trained in the latest in animal dentistry should your dog or cat require a cleaning or more advanced procedure.
Pet Surgery
We perform both routine and advanced surgery in our animal hospital. For advanced surgical procedures, we have partnered with a board-certified surgeon, Dr. Jennifer Wardlow of Gateway Veterinary Surgery. This team approach allows the balance of convenience while still offering the expertise of a surgical specialist in our office. We are excited to have the opportunity to help your special pet. Therapeutic Laser Services
Southwick is one of the only hospitals in the area that offers vet laser therapy. A painless, gentle, and safe treatment, laser therapy directs laser light to penetrate the tissue. It can be used for pain management and reducing inflammation to treating a wide variety of medical conditions. We offer dog laser therapy & cat laser therapy.
