Our goal is to help the families of our community live happier and more fulfilling lives by increasing the quality and length of their pet's lives. If you live in the St. Louis area, our veterinary team is here for you.
Southwick Veterinary Hospital has proudly served the St. Louis, MO area since 1975. Founded in March 1975 by Dr. Evelyn Bock. The practice was originally located in the Central City Shopping Center on Lemay Ferry Road. Southwick quickly outgrew our facility and in December of 1992, Dr. Bock built the new Southwick Veterinary Hospital that still resides at 4814 Lemay Ferry Road.
Now we are members of the Kind Vet Care Family with the same commitment to educating our clients in how to keep their furry family members healthy year round, with good nutrition and exercise. Our team prides itself in staying abreast of the latest advances in veterinary medicine technology and above all treating all pet patients with respect and loving care at every visit, procedure or surgery. This care and respect is extended to their pet parents and family, because after all they are our family too. Dr. Alicia graduated in 2014 and started her career in Chicago, IL. She made her way back to her hometown in 2018. Dr. Alicia has a special interest in fear-free techniques and views client education along with the comfort of her patient as a top priority. Other interests include nutrition, neurology, and surgery. Dr. Alicia likes to spend her free time with her children, husband and dog, Layla. They enjoy spending time outdoors with sport activities, hiking, biking, and occasional rock climbing. Dr. Alicia also loves to read when she finds time. Her favorite foods are frozen yogurt and jalapeno chips and she is terrified of heights!
Dr. Kim Fahnestock

Her interests include preventative medicine, surgery, behavior, and exotics medicine. Outside of work, Dr. Fahnestock enjoys outdoor activities like hiking, camping, and gardening, but also loves to relax at home with her husband, 4-year old son, two cats and one dog.
